Thermal Angel Blood and IV Fluid Infusion Warmer In The News

Product Update: Device Delivers Warm IV Fluids and Blood
Article in Hospital Focus RN, February 2001

The Thermal Angel can be used with standard IV tubing and infusion pumps to warm blood and IV and irrigation fluids to 100.4°F (38C). To use, you simply connect the desired infusion set into the inlet port of the unit, and add an extension set to the outlet port. You then prime the unit with 10 ml of fluid, insert the power cord, and turn on the power. The Thermal Angel begins heating fluids in seconds and can accommodate flows of up to 150 ml per minute. The device is lightweight, portable, battery-powered, and disposable.
