Mr. Lopez began his career as Director, Nuclear Medicine Technology Training Program at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology before transcending into hospital administration as Administrator, Department of Laboratory Medicine with Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions followed by Associate Director, Stanford University Hospital and Clinics. He served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Chief Executive Officer of University Hospital - UMDNJ. A career change to investment banking took him to Wall Street with Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette Securities Corporation where he served as Vice President, Health Care Finance Group, and Vice President and Regional Manager, Public Finance Division. Mr. Lopez is past Chairman of Humana Hospital/Medical City, Dallas, Texas. He is currently Chairman of Estill Medical Technologies, Chairman of LJBB Investment Group, LP and Chairman of ESI Healthcare Business Solutions. He has his certification in Medical technology and Nuclear Medicine Technology, and earned a BS in Business Administration and a Masters in Health Administration, both from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri.
Jay Lopez

Jay Lopez is the President and CEO at Estill Medical Technologies, where he manages the expansion of the Thermal Angel Blood and IV Fluid Infusion Warmer product line. In guiding the rapid growth and expansion of the company into new growing markets in the U.S. and international channels, Jay manages a team whose goal is to continually increase revenues and profitability while trying to respond to the overwhelming demand for the Thermal Angel. Jay has successfully grown the company to a much larger valuation in a few short years.
Jay also serves at the Chief Operating Officer of LJBB Investment Group, LP. Jay directs the company’s investments in healthcare (Mediclaim, Enrollment Services), food and beverage (ViB Beverages, Smoothie King), sportswear (Invincible Sportswear) and technology (DigitalConvergence, Critical Devices).
Jay has almost two decades experience as a business owner and investor in privately held businesses. In addition to Estill Medical Technologies, he has co-owned and actively participated in the management of several other successful companies. Notable is his 16 years as Senior Vice President of Information Systems for ESI, a national healthcare revenue cycle outsourcing company based in Dallas, where he directed the Revenue Cycle Management and Business Process Outsourcing initiatives. Under Jay’s leadership, ESI has recovered in excess of $5 Billion.
An entrepreneur at heart, Jay can’t resist a business challenge. In 1995 he and his family purchased the master franchisee rights for Smoothie King in the Dallas, Texas area. Within 3 years the Lopez Family Smoothie Kings were the largest franchisee in the country.
In 2007 Jay was recognized with the Tech Titans Medical Innovator Award for outstanding achievement in medical devices. Other honors include receiving the Dallas Business Journal Innovative Medical Product Award and being named one of the Dallas Business Journal Top 30 Under 30 in 1998.
Jay holds a bachelors degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Brandon Lopez
Vice President Sales and Marketing

Brandon Lopez is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Company and is also a partner in the LJBB Investment Group, LP. Prior to his career with the Company, he held various business development positions at Critical Devices. During college, Mr. Lopez coordinated the marketing rollout of the Smoothie King franchise in the Dallas area. Mr. Lopez also serves on the board of directors for Hey Buddy Pet Vending Supply as well as the management of LJBB current investment portfolio.
Mr. Lopez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 1998 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and his Masters of Business Administration in 2000 from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

Matthew Cassell

Matt Cassell serves as Estill’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Cassell is responsible for the financial, accounting, treasury, planning and HR functions for Estill Medical Technologies.
Mr. Cassell brings over 20 years of financial expertise to Estill. Prior to joining Estill, Mr. Cassell ran a successful consulting practice, serving in various executive roles and raising capital for both start-up and late stage companies in distribution, manufacturing and insurance. Before opening his consulting practice, Mr. Cassell was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Strategic Planning and Development for UICI, a NYSE-traded insurance company. Mr. Cassell also held various finance and operational roles in healthcare technology with Insurdata Incorporated and hospital administration with Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. In his roles, Mr. Cassell has provided financial modeling, reporting and analysis, closed numerous acquisitions, conducted due diligence, led workouts, and conducted strategic planning.
Mr. Cassell holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

David Newby
Controller

David Newby serves as the Controller for the Company. Mr. Newby’s background includes management, accounting, inventory and business systems control. Prior to his tenure with the Company, he spent 15 years as a general life and health insurance agent, an agency owner of Assurity First Group and General Partner of Pro-Tech Agency where he was the Director of Operations and Finance. Before those positions, he was with Greenfield Sales Company, a multi-state automotive parts wholesale distributor. There he served as Director of Operations, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President.
Mr. Newby received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management in 1976 from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas and he also holds a Group I, HMO and Property and Casualty Insurance License.

Hugh Alarcon
Director of Engineering and Regulatory Affairs

Hugh Alarcon serves as the Director of Engineering and Regulatory Affairs for the Company. Mr. Alarcon has over 12 years experience in the medical device and manufacturing industry. Prior to joining the Company, he held various technical and management positions in quality control and quality engineering for products ranging in, implantable pulse generators for pain management, IV fluid delivery, blood coagulation and myocardial protection and delivery systems for cardiac surgery.
Mr. Alarcon received an Applied Electronics degree in 1996 from DeVry Institute of Technologies in Irving, Texas and is nearing completion of his Business Management degree from Dallas Baptist University.
